The largest facility at Elsinore Peak. Two 1,800 square foot shared communications facilities are constructed of all concrete and steel, thereby being virtually fire resistant and fireproof. The facility is available for all wireless uses, including cellular, point-to-point microwave, land mobile repeaters, LPTV, paging transmitters, MMDS, satellite receivers, Wireless Internet Service, etc. Existing tenants are Verizon Wireless, Cingular, Nextel Communications, and others. Our towers are designed to support 260 sq. ft. of antenna loading, on every 20 foot section, from 40 to 120 feet elevation. We have 130 KW propane stand-by generators for each building. The facility is served with both copper and fiber from GTE Verizon.

Pleasants Peak Facility Corp.

Pleasants Peak overlooks all of Orange County, and the metropolitan portions of Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. This shared communications facility is situated on 157 private acres within the Cleveland National Forest, midway on the ridgeline, which extends from Sierra Peak to Santiago Peak. Since Pleasants Peak is the only established electronic site on private property in this region, there are no expensive Forest Service fees, or permit delays. The site is available for all wireless uses. This property has been pre-approved by the Orange County Planning Commission for 11 additional 120' towers and two additional 1,800 square foot buildings.

Special emphasis has been placed upon maintaining a low “noise floor” at the site, to allow for reception of weak signals (such as handhelds) from throughout the Los Angeles basin. All transmitters at the site are periodically monitored for spurious signals, to insure compliance. Truly out of this world. Exclusive leased VHF radio spectrum is available in the greater Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties for both long-term (5 to 10 years) as well as short-term (1 to 12 months) use. The FCC now approves spectrum leasing and you can download the decision HERE. Simplex or duplex channels are available in standard bandwidths of 5.0, 6.25, 12.5, or 25 KHz per channel for voice or data. Flexible licensing allows base stations or repeaters to be constructed at almost any location within our service area without prior FCC approval.
